The Isola
Di Cocco ("The Island of
Coconuts"), a unique heritage

Napier Museum : It
is an absolute of
architectural exuberance
,combining traditional Kerala
style with good of Chinese and
Mughail influences.
Sri Chithra Art Gallery : It houses the collections of the
Travancore ruling family and
includes an interesting
assortment of turn of the
century.
Zoo and Zoological Gardens :
It is one of four biggest Zoos
in India With well maintained
lawns, lakes and a botanical
garden. It houses many animals
and birds of different
habitats including certain
endangered species.
Padmanabhaswamy Temple : Located inside the East Fort is
dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It
has been held sacred by the
Hindus from antiquity. |

Kawdiar Palace :
The home of the Travancore
Royal family is off limits to
visitors, but you can get a
glimpse from the main
gate.
East Fort :
The fort around this area
built AD 922 by Anizham
Thirunal Marthandavarma
Mahraja to protect the temple
and palaces along with other
cultural and civil
establishment in the city
against the attack of
enemies.
Sankhumugham Beach :
This beach is 8 km away from
the city and near the
international Airport. It is
an ideal spot for sunset
watches.
Veli Tourist Village :
It is picnic spot in the north
of the Trivandrum city, where
Veli lake meets the Arabian
Sea. The facilities for water
sports are available

Ponmudi
Hill Station :
Ponmudi in the Eastern hills
of the district is a tourist
spot located 915 meter above
sea level. Trekking through
the natural trail here one
comes across beds of wild
flowers, tumbling little
rivulets of chilled and
crystal clear water and some
rare species of
butterflies.
Kanyakumari :
Located at the southern tip of
the Indian subcontinent.
Temple dedicated to
Kanyakumari, or the youthful
form of the primeval energy
Shakti is located on the
seashore. It was referred to
by the British as Cape
Commorin. |

Trivandrum International
Airport. Trivandrum Central
railway station is also well
connected through Indian
railways. It is also connected
by road from all the
neighboring states. Isola Di

by the side of the Kovalam –

only 45 minutes drive from the
